Disable fitur-fitur windows yang tidak diperlukan
Klik kanan pada my computer atau tekan tombol windows+tombol pause/break>> properties >> advanced >> settings (dibawah performance) >> Adjust for best performance >> Scroll kebawah dan centang “use visual styles on windows and buttons”.

Klik System Restore > centang "Turn off System Restore". Klik Automatic Updates > Pilih "Turn off autoamtic updates". Klik Remote > hilangkan tanda centang pada "Remote Assistance" & "Remote Desktop"

Desktop > Properties > Screen Saver > klik power > hibernate, buang tanda centangnya

Mempercepat menu delay
Start > Run > Regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
MenuShowDelay, beri nilai 0

Mempercepat proses Sutdown
Start > Run > Regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\
WaitToKillAppTimeout, beri nilai 1000
HungAppTimeout, beri nilai 1000

Tuning Systems Memory
Minimal memory 256 MB
Start > Run > regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management
1. DisablePagingExecutive - klik 2x dan beri nilai 1 dalam decimal
2. LargeSystemCache – klik 2x dan beri nilai 1 dalam decimal
3. IOPageLockLimit – Buat “New Dword” dan beri nama IOPageLockLimit , beri nilai dalam hex (4000 untuk RAM 128MB, 10000 untuk RAM 256MB, 40000 untuk RAM 512MB).

Delete file dari Avi di Harddisk
Start > Run > Regedit > HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.avi\shel lex\PropertyHandler\ directory . Hapus "DEFAULT" key.

Tweak File Swap
Start > Run > msconfig.exe > System.ini >386enh > new, ketik: ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1 > Restart

Nonaktifkan servis yang tidak diperlukan
Start > Run > services.msc, klik 2x dan pilih disable.

Mempercepat File System
Start > Run > Regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\FileSystem, beri nilai 1 pada 'DisableNTFSLastAccessUpdate'.
Buat New Dword: NtfsMftZoneReservation dan beri nilai 2 (decimal).

Disable DLL Caching
Start > Run > Regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mcft\Windows\CurrentVe rsion\Explorer.
Buat New Dword sub-key: AlwaysUnloadDLL dan beri nilai 1.

Tweak Prefetch
Start > Run > Regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\SessionManager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters\EnablePrefetcher.
Beri nilai 0-Disable, 1-App launch prefetch, 2-Boot Prefetch, 3-Both (dianjurkan untuk nilai "3").

Menghilangkan Windows Messenger
Start > Run, ketik:rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection BLC.Remove 128 %SystemRoot%INFmsmsgs.inf
